VE Day is fast approaching this Friday!
Even though we are in lockdown we can still celebrate in our own homes/ gardens at a safe distance.
What is VE Day?
VE Day stands for Victory in Europe Day. The Prime Minister Winston Churchill announced the end of the war in Europe with a speech broadcast from Downing Street on May 8th 1945.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Activities/ celebrations:
*Have a picnic
*Make some bunting
*Design a flag
*Bake some cakes
*Have a go at the activities above too
