Our parish church is St. Cuthbert's
"The Parish of St Edward the Confessor is built of Sacred Heart Church and St Cuthberts Church in Wigan. The three previous parishes of Sacred Heart, St Cuthberts and St Edwards have merged to form the Parish of St Edward the Confessor. Fr Giorgio Miles is the Parish Priest. The Parish has two Deacons: Deacon Anil Lukose and Deacon Michael Moffatt"
